Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC Last reviewed: April 28, 2026 Last material change: April 28, 2026 This page consolidates the legal and regulatory disclosures applicable to Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC and the communications we publish, including this website, our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), our blog, printed materials, direct mail, and educational seminars. We maintain this page as the single source of truth for the disclosures referenced throughout our other materials. The information here is reviewed at least annually, and again whenever there is a material change to the firm's operations, registration, services, or applicable regulations. If you have questions about anything on this page, please contact Grant Joiner, Chief Compliance Officer, at (508) 696-2000 or grant@vineyardwealthgroup.com.
1. Firm Identification and Registration
Legal name: Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC Office: 5 Beach Street, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568 Phone: (508) 696-2000 Website: VineyardWealthGroup.com SEC CRD Number: 330619 Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is a Registered Investment Adviser registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under M.G.L. c. 110A. We are not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and are not registered or notice-filed in any state other than Massachusetts. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training. State registration is a regulatory status, not an endorsement, certification, or qualitative assessment of any individual or firm. You can verify our registration and access our regulatory filings on the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) website. Our current Form ADV Part 2A (firm brochure) is available here or upon request by phone or email.
2. Nature of Communications
The content we publish, including blog posts, social media posts, printed advertisements, direct mail, seminar presentations, and educational handouts, is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not personalized investment, tax, or legal advice. Information presented in our communications should not be relied upon for any individual financial decision without consultation with a qualified professional who has reviewed your complete personal situation. Investment, tax, and estate planning decisions depend on facts and circumstances specific to each individual or household, and what is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another. Receipt of our communications does not create an advisory relationship with Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC. Advisory relationships are formed only through a signed advisory agreement.
3. Investment Risk and Performance
Investing involves risk, including the potential loss of principal. Markets fluctuate. Asset values can decline, sometimes substantially and over extended periods. No investment strategy can guarantee a profit or protect against loss in periods of declining market values. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical returns of any investment, asset class, index, or strategy do not predict, guarantee, or imply future returns. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC does not advertise actual investment performance of client accounts on our website, social media, blog, or marketing materials. Where our educational content references the historical performance of broad market indices such as the S&P 500, those references are illustrative of general market behavior over the periods shown and are not representations of returns achieved by Vineyard Wealth Group or any of our clients. You cannot invest directly in an index, and indices do not reflect fees, expenses, or trading costs that would reduce returns in an actual portfolio. Annuity products carry product-level risks, fees, and contractual features that differ from securities held in brokerage accounts. These are described in the applicable annuity prospectus or contract.
4. Hypothetical and Illustrative Content
Some of our educational content includes hypothetical examples, planning case studies, and sample outputs from financial planning software. Examples include the "Doughs" family case study used in our retirement and tax planning seminars, sample dashboards from financial planning platforms such as RightCapital and eMoney, and "what if" scenarios in articles or social media posts. These examples are hypothetical and illustrative only. They are not based on the experience of any actual Vineyard Wealth Group client. They are designed to demonstrate concepts, not to predict outcomes. Individual results vary based on personal circumstances, market conditions, time horizon, contribution levels, withdrawal patterns, tax situations, and many other factors. The assumptions underlying any specific illustration are available upon request. Outputs from financial planning software, including Monte Carlo simulations and "probability of success" scores, are model-based projections that depend on inputs and assumptions selected at the time of analysis. They are not predictions of actual future results, and small changes in inputs can produce materially different outputs.
5. Forward-Looking Statements
Any forward-looking statements in our communications about markets, the economy, planning outcomes, tax policy, or future events reflect our views as of the date of publication. These views are subject to change without notice based on changing facts, market conditions, or regulatory developments. References to specific tax provisions, rates, exemptions, deductions, and credits in our communications reflect federal and state tax law as of the date the content was published or last updated. Tax law is subject to legislative and regulatory change, and provisions referenced in older content may have been modified, sunset, or replaced. Consult a qualified tax professional for advice based on current law and your specific situation.

8. Fee-Only Status and Independence
Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is a fee-only firm. We receive compensation only from advisory fees paid directly by our clients. We do not accept, and have never accepted, commissions of any kind, 12b-1 fees from mutual funds, revenue-sharing payments from product issuers, referral or solicitation fees from product providers, insurance commissions, trail compensation, or any other compensation tied to specific products or transactions. This fee-only structure applies across all of our services, including portfolio management, financial planning, tax preparation, estate planning coordination, and annuity advisory services. We do not receive commissions, trail compensation, or any other transaction-based compensation in connection with annuity recommendations or annuity exchanges. Our compensation is the advisory fee paid by the client. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is not owned by, affiliated with, or controlled by any broker-dealer, insurance company, asset manager, or product issuer. Our investment recommendations are not influenced by relationships with any third party that would compromise our independence. For complete details on our fees and compensation, see Form ADV Part 2A, Item 5.
9. Fee Structure
We offer three primary fee structures based on the type of relationship:
Comprehensive Portfolio Management and Financial Planning is billed as a tiered annual fee based on assets under management: 1.00% on the first $1,000,000; 0.85% on assets from $1,000,000 to $3,000,000; 0.70% on assets from $3,000,000 to $5,000,000; and 0.50% on assets over $5,000,000. New Comprehensive Portfolio Management relationships are subject to a minimum annual advisory fee of $1,000 per household. Existing clients whose fee arrangements predate this policy may continue under their current pricing arrangements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cash and Fixed Income Management is billed at a flat 0.50% annually on all asset levels for clients focused on cash reserves and short-term fixed income. Financial Planning Only is billed as one-time fees ranging from $1,000 to $8,000 based on complexity and scope.
Annuity Advisory is billed at a flat 0.50% annually on annuity assets custodied with Nationwide. The annuity advisory fee is a flat rate that applies regardless of overall household assets under management with the Firm. Annuity assets are not aggregated with non-annuity assets for purposes of determining the tiered fee schedule above. Annuity assets are billed separately from Comprehensive Portfolio Management assets. The advisory fee is separate from, and in addition to, fees and expenses charged by Nationwide and the applicable annuity product, including the current $20 monthly platform charge per annuity, underlying fund expenses, rider charges, insurance-related charges, and other product or platform fees described in the applicable prospectus or contract. The Firm does not receive any portion of those product-level fees.
Non-Profit Discount. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC offers a 50% reduction from standard advisory fees for tax-exempt non-profit organizations whose principal place of operations is on Martha's Vineyard. Eligibility criteria, application, and any related conditions are described in Form ADV Part 2A.
A complete fee schedule is available on our fees page and in Form ADV Part 2A, Item 5.
10. Services and Third-Party Providers We offer investment management, financial planning, tax preparation, estate planning coordination, and annuity advisory services as part of an integrated advisory relationship. Tax preparation services are offered as part of our comprehensive advisory relationship and are subject to minimum asset requirements as described in Form ADV. Not all tax returns can be completed in-house. For returns involving complexity beyond our scope, we may refer clients to outside tax professionals or charge additional fees. Tax preparation is performed by Mr. Joiner in his capacity as an Enrolled Agent. Estate planning document creation is provided through our partnership with Wealth.com, a third-party legal-technology platform. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For matters requiring legal counsel, including complex trust structures, contested matters, multi-state estate planning, business succession, and others, we coordinate with the client's attorney or refer to outside legal counsel. Annuity advisory services are provided where appropriate and in the client's best interest. The Firm may evaluate existing annuity contracts as part of the broader advisory and financial planning relationship, and may recommend annuity-related strategies, including annuity exchanges. Annuity accounts established through the Firm are custodied with Nationwide. The Firm provides this advice in its capacity as an investment adviser only. Annuity products involve product-level fees, expenses, and contractual features that are described in the applicable prospectus or contract; clients should review those documents carefully before purchasing or exchanging any annuity. Annuities may not be appropriate for all clients, and the suitability of an annuity strategy depends on the client's overall financial situation, time horizon, liquidity needs, and other factors. Where we use third-party financial planning software such as RightCapital or eMoney to generate plans, illustrations, or projections, those outputs reflect the assumptions and methodologies of the software vendor. The full disclosures of each vendor are available upon request and accompany any client-specific output.
11. Custody and Account Holding Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC does not hold or take custody of client assets. Client accounts are maintained with qualified custodians. For brokerage and advisory accounts other than annuities, we recommend Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. ("Schwab") as qualified custodian. Schwab is a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and member of SIPC. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with Schwab. For annuity accounts established through the Firm, the qualified custodian is Nationwide. Nationwide is an unaffiliated insurance company and platform provider. Clients enter into annuity contract documentation directly with Nationwide and receive statements and related materials directly from Nationwide. Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC is not affiliated with, owned by, or under common control with Nationwide. The Firm receives no compensation, revenue sharing, or other consideration from Nationwide; the Firm's compensation is the client-paid advisory fee described in Section 9. For more information on how client assets are held and protected, see our Asset Safety page.
12. Testimonials, Endorsements, and Third-Party Reviews Vineyard Wealth Group, LLC does not post, repost, embed, link to, or otherwise adopt testimonials, endorsements, or third-party reviews of our services on our website, social media channels, or marketing materials. We do invite prospects who schedule a complimentary consultation to share honest feedback on Google after their meeting. The invitation is generated automatically and goes to every prospect who schedules a meeting, without selection or filtering based on the likely nature of the feedback. The language of the invitation is neutral and asks for honest feedback, not for positive feedback. We do not condition the invitation on any expected outcome of the meeting, and we do not offer compensation, discounts, or other consideration in exchange for reviews. Reviews left on Google by clients or prospects appear on Google's platform under Google's terms. We do not adopt those reviews on our own materials. We do not selectively respond to favorable reviews while ignoring unfavorable ones, and any responses we post are limited to brief, generic acknowledgments rather than substantive characterizations of the services received. This posture reflects our current interpretation of applicable Massachusetts regulations governing investment adviser advertising. We may revisit this position in the future. Any future change in how we treat third-party reviews, including any decision to feature, republish, or adopt them on our own materials, will be accompanied by all required disclosures. We have no paid promoter, solicitor, or referral arrangements with any individual or firm.

We will redirect substantive inquiries about your specific situation to email or phone, where we can provide proper service and maintain appropriate records. We do not provide specific investment recommendations, security recommendations, or personalized planning advice in social media comments. General educational responses are sometimes provided, and these are not advice. Engagement with our posts in the form of likes, comments, shares, or follows by clients or members of the public does not constitute a testimonial, endorsement, or recommendation of our services. Where we share or reference third-party content such as articles, reports, or data sources, the inclusion is for educational purposes and does not constitute endorsement of the third party, its products, or its services.
